dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT Globalization has been a component of the technological changes that have been generated in many countries, especially Colombia. Where a labor, business and economic crisis is visible from the existing perspective in the creation or generation of new jobs in the technological and computer field. Consequently, there are sectors of low productivity in the subject and because there is no public debate or government policies to implement various methods to ensure the increase of technological labor demand not only in the private sector but also from the public sector. The State, the public and private academic institutions and the productive sector must work in a coordinated manner; starting from the academic aspect in the teaching given to future professionals and the demand of human talent required by the companies, in a substantial way; this would mitigate the little labor supply existing, especially in the District of Barrancabermeja. It is intended to address this research topic through an analysis of existing data on variables such as employment, unemployment, education at the national and district levels, which yields a diagnosis on the process of labor competitiveness and the demand for human talent in the subsector of Computer, Information Technology and Computer Services. The research methodology used for this analysis is of a qualitative and quantitative nature from secondary sources; information taken from databases of institutions for the identification of the percentages of the realities of labor demand and supply of human talent, taking into account the soft, technical and conceptual skills related to information technologies. The characterization will be done through the variable of sex, gender, age, formal and informal education, among others; also, assertively the challenges for the eradication of inequality gaps and labor disparity in the access to opportunities in the field of technology and information technology. | es_ES |
